Kordian, dink & Romek - we gathered on a lonely gas station just outside city of Poznań
Unfortunately, dink hadn't had time to wash his 2 (in the middle) after 330 kms journey from Warsaw, so Nautical Blue Metallic had turned to Unmetallic Grey Mud :)

Our new friend from Poznań - Paweł arrived few minutes later and we all have started admiring his Lucifer Red N/A '96

...and then majestically off we went...
no, no, that's rubbish, we pushed hard on international A2, going like mad good deal over 200 kph (hey cops, you don't wanna hear that...)

After that bit crazy driving (Kordian, I'm talking to you!) we had a short break, took some fuel and shot few pics...

Shortly after noon we arrived at place - the M.R.U. - a complex of German fortifications raised in years 1934-38 with over 30 kms of underground facilities and corridors

In those exceptional conditions - good 10 meters underground, in darkness, with humidity reaching 100% and stable temperature around +8 Celsius degrees; no matter how hot or cold is outside - we encountered strange creatures... ...Bats!
They're hanging upside-down the walls and ceilings, hibernating in Winter and waiting for the awakening in Spring
In fact they wake up every week for a while just to drink some water, greet friends, etc...

After that thrilling experience we were dying of hunger and decided to have some veeery late lunch before returning home
